New Special Needs Facility Coming to Hereford

We’ve all got our party hats on here at the office, and if you live in or around Herefordshire you might just have reason to celebrate too!
We are proud to announce today that the formation of the first – of what we hope will be many new Music Gyms – is now under way.
Our partner in this undertaking is Aspire, a registered chari
ty providing tailor-made support for individuals with learning disabilities in Herefordshire, dedicated to enabling them to lead lives as independent as possible within their local community. Aspire was born in the mid 90’s as a result of Care in the Community and the ensuing need for local support networks arising from the closure of so many institutions. Since that time Aspire has continued to adapt and grow to meet the needs of their community and the individuals within their care whilst keeping abreast of ever changing government policy.
Aspire were inspired by our innovative use of sensory inflatables such as our sensory igloo and of course the active camera technology found in the dancing squares, deciding that a mobile Music Gym would be a cost effective sensory solution to provide meaningful activities for individuals with learning disabilities throughout Herefordshire.
In this uncertain economy it is of course difficult for charities to commit to anything, uncertain as we all are about who or what would be hit next by the cuts, but through it all though we and Aspire stuck to our guns, and we can confirm that there IS light at the end of the tunnel!
Be sure to check back here for more news and pictures from the Music Gym Hereford as this exciting development unfolds.
