Sound Therapy

There have been two developments this past week in the groups that can use the Music Gym.

First, it’s been adopted by the training company JamBerry Ltd. for corporate team-building. This can be for including everyone in making music, even those who really believe they can’t play a note, or for tailor made modules such as Find That Song - working together to locate a certain piece of music in a completely empty room. Besides providing an excellent activity in itself, Decoda’s proceeds from the day will go to subsidise the Music Gym as a facility for those with profound disabilities who so enjoy using it. Secondly, on Saturday Tom provided the light show for the Bohemia Ukulele Band who were performing at the Rooms in St. Leonards. If you haven’t seen the band they play a wide range of classics from the Jungle Book to Johnny Cash and they look the part too - a real feel-good outfit. The youtube film of the event came and went in 36 hours, so if you missed it you can get a flavour of the band here.
